Located at the heart of Hải Dương province, Hải Dương is the hub of transport in the city. Situated in the Red River Delta, the city can be linked to Hanoi (capital of Vietnam), Hai Phong, Thái Bình, Nam dinh, Bắc Giang, Quảng Ninh, and Hưng Yên via water transportation systems.
